Sorry for the lateness of this update, but we've been trying to figure out a way to carry on - unfortunately, a number of different things have happened that make it impossible for us to continue publishing issues at the moment.

Nobody is more upset about this than us. We all love the characters, and there's still a lot of story left to tell. And we know those of you who read the first two issues want more, because you told us!

So this wasn't a decision we took lightly. We're still looking at different ways to continue the story, and get it into people's hands. If we succeed, we'll of course post here and let everyone know.

But for the foreseeable future at least, Wyatt, Madara, Rick and the others are hanging up their spurs.

Signings at Golden Apple & San Diego

The TEXAS STRANGERS team will be out in force for two signings this week!

The first is at Golden Apple Comics in Los Angeles 7018 Melrose, on La Brea). Can the twins find what links them all to the Lone Stranger before they lose their newfound home?

Comic store order code: MAR071856

TEXAS STRANGERS #1 11-page preview now online!

An 11-page preview (that's the entire first half!) of TEXAS STRANGERS #1 is now available. He was one of the first Rangers appointed, and most people are pretty sure he was in the Texas Revolutionary War. But before that, no-one's sure - and Blackwood doesn't talk about his past.

He is never seen out of his full dress uniform, no matter how hot it gets. Several people have noticed that he's survived some fairly dangerous situations, only to go looking for another. But while he is a lawkeeper, Rick seems to be a man of practicality. "Sometimes the only way to get through to a mule is to kick him in the head...but sometimes you just need to give him a treat" is his method of peacekeeping. And once he sets his mind to something, he never gives up. Blackwood inspires a great amount of loyalty from his Rangers and an equal amount of fear in his enemies.

technorati tags:Texas, Strangers, Blackwood

Interview and sneak peeks at CBR

There's a big ol' interview with TEXAS STRANGERS co-writers Antony and Dan at Comic Book Resources today.
